Series 1 (2003)

In the summer of 2003 I visited Oxford for my first extended stay between college semesters.  During that time I completed a series of sketches that caught the eye of the nice people at Frame Up on the square.  Series 1 is distinct in it's very quick and raw style, which I developed in architecture school at Philadelphia University.  Series 1 includes the following (prints are available for sale as well... images upon request):

• Square Books, Oxford MS
• City Grocery, Oxford MS
• Lafayette County Courthouse, Oxford MS
• The Lyceum, University of Mississippi
• City Hall, Oxford MS
• Ventress Hall, University of Mississippi

Series 2 (2012)

This past year, a family friend rekindled some interest in my series 1 prints, which went on sale at Something Southern on the square.  Due to their popularity there was a request for a new series featuring some other well known landmark buildings.  The Series 2 sketches have become more refined, as my skills and career have developed, but they remain cohesive with Series 1 through medium and subject.  Series 2 includes the following:

• Rowan Oak, Oxford MS
• The Square (phone booth), Oxford MS
• Paris-Yates Chapel, University of Mississippi
• Kennon Observatory, University of Mississippi
• Cedar Oaks, Oxford MS

Series 3 : Gameday (unknown)

The next series i'm developing will focus on the architecture of sporting events in Oxford and Ole Miss.  I have several ideas of what the series will include, but feel free to make suggestions.  Just click the "contact" button on the left.
